Target Operations:

• Auto dismantlers and recyclers
• Scrap metal recyclers with auto-focused operations
• U-Pull-It / self-service auto recycling facilities
• Operations primarily engaged in parts harvesting and resale

Preferred Risk Class Characteristics:

• Three or more years of operating experience (or equivalent industry experience)
• Documented safety programs and employee training procedures
• Controlled premises with appropriate fencing, lighting, and security
• Formal processes for fluid removal, storage, and environmental compliance
• Favorable loss history and proactive risk management culture

Incidental/Secondary Operations (Eligible): 

We recognize many recycling operations include related exposures and will consider:

• Auto service and repair (mechanical or light collision)
• Customer or incidental towing
• Used auto sales
• Retail parts sales and accessories
• Limited non-auto scrap operations
